Department : Transportation and Infrastructure
Placement Description : We aim to mentor students in the field of highway operations such as patching, leveling, ditching, driveways, and highway culverts, where most of our work is designed and installed. Here are some of the tasks we perform: We collect data (survey) on-site for designing work, design the work, budget and estimate, plan and schedule the work, supervise work with a group of employees, organize data collection in our Survey 123 application for public complaints and maintenance needed work, inspect contracts such as wildlife fences, mowing, brush cutting, leveling with asphalt, etc., prepare reports for follow-ups on budgets and accomplishments, and conduct safety awareness sessions with employees.
