Position Summary: We are seeking a Virtual Pre-Sales Representative, ideally with a strong background in the enterprise search sector, to join our dynamic sales team. This role is designed for a tech-savvy professional who excels in a virtual environment, providing product demonstrations, and tailored consultations to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of supporting sales teams by engaging and educating potential customers and partners on the value and capabilities of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct virtual product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations with potential clients, clearly articulating the features, benefits, and value of our enterprise search solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads and understand the specific needs and challenges of potential customers, ensuring tailored and impactful product showcases.
- Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to maintain a deep understanding of product features, updates, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback from potential customers to the product and sales teams to help refine sales strategies and product development.
- Assist in the creation of sales and marketing materials, including presentations, product sheets, and case studies, tailored to the enterprise search market.
- Participate in industry webinars, conferences, and other virtual events to stay connected with the market and identify new sales opportunities.
- Handle initial technical queries from prospects with the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pre-sales activities and interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or similar role, specifically within the enterprise search or related technology sector.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to demo software products and explain their benefits and features effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for presenting complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Experience working in a virtual environment, utilizing video conferencing tools and CRM systems efficiently.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet during live demos and Q&A sessions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry changes.
