Matchbox is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our client. They are an established builder with offices in Canada and the United States. 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience,  drywall experience is a must – even if they have moved on from the trade, but would like to see some solid experience in the field
• Strong technical knowledge of construction industry practices.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Charismatic, “Type A” personality.
• Software: On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Procore and Microsoft Office.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Previous client relationships / book of business
• Eventually will be dealing with the clients, so understanding the culture and being able to be flexible with adversity. 
• “Client comes first” mentality 

Location(s)

• This role will by hybrid – a mix of on site and in office
• Office is located in Burnaby 
• Projects are all over lower mainland 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment
• Utilize project management tools such as Procore, to track progress and manage documentation. 
• Implement project management methodologies, depending on the needs of the project
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Monitor project budget and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance and support to team members
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
