About Our Opportunity

We are hiring a Program Manager for Student Housing. In this role, you will lead, develop and implement innovative programs that pave the way for new student housing projects. Working collaboratively with the departments of Municipal Affairs & Housing and Advanced Education, you will oversee the administration, delivery, and strategic direction of these programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Primary Accountabilities

 

You'll be at the forefront of delivering impactful outcomes and administering grants and loans to strengthen post-secondary institutions. Working hand-in-hand with external partners and reporting to senior leadership, you'll craft innovative programs that not only support strategic planning for on and off-campus housing but also shape the future of student living.

 

Picture yourself as a consultant; analyzing proposals, and spearheading initiatives that secure vital government funding. But it doesn't stop there – you'll communicate strategies, ensuring our progress is celebrated and our impact is known far and wide. And when it comes to budgets and resources, you'll maximize resource allocation. Plus, you'll be the heartbeat of our team, nurturing relationships, fostering collaboration, and championing diversity in a workplace culture that thrives on innovation and teamwork.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

You have completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Policy, Urban Planning, or other related discipline. And, you have several years of experience in program management, ideally in the housing or education sector.

This position works predominantly in a comfortable office environment with occasional site visits.

This is a term opportunity employment opportunity with an anticipated end date of April 1 2027. The appointment status (‘term’, ‘temporary’ or ‘casual’) is dependent on the start date of the successful candidate.

What We Offer

 

 

Pay Grade: EC 11 

Salary Range:  $3,238.10 - $4,047.67 Bi-Weekly
