Your new role
We are currently seeking a IOSSIC Lead (Integrated Operational Scheduling Short Interval Control Lead) to join our Brownfields Exploration team in Voisey’s Bay, NL. This is a temporary position of 12 months.
This position is based at the Voisey’s Bay mine site in Labrador, a fly-in fly-out operation, on a two week on, two week off rotation day shifts, consisting of 12-hour shifts during the two weeks on.
The Role
• Oversee team of five coordinators.
• Support training initiatives on site for SIC (Short Interval Conrols).
• Drive adoption of SIC applications through training, support, and interaction.
• Conduct training of Supervisors on SIC processes, roles, and mobile application.
• Conduct training of Operators on SIC processes, roles, and mobile application.
• Support end-users through any application usage issues
Responsibilities:
• Support the roll out of SIC on site and the eventual decommissioning of devOMS.
• Ensure effective and timely execution of training plan.
• Effectively maintain records of training conducted for administrative purposes.
• Train Supervisors on SIC processes, roles, and correct usage of the SIC mobile application.
• Train Operators on SIC processes, roles, and correct usage of the SIC mobile application.
• Effectively communicate the purpose, benefits, and transition approach from DevOMS to SIC to end users.
• Train with the focus on end user activities including but not limited to Sign in, Review of Work Packages, Notes input and review, Iconography.
• Follow up with end users post training to monitor transition and adoption.
• Support end users with any application related queries and support processes.
• Maintain the SIC Coaching Feedback log daily.

Travel & Accommodations:
• All travel to and from the site will be coordinated by the company. The company charter will pick up the employee, at defined locations within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, at no cost.
• Accommodations and meals will be provided by the company while on the Voisey’s Bay Mine Site.
