Manager of Ecommerce

My Canadian client, a well-established CPG Manufacturer is seeking a savvy and smart Manager of Ecommerce to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, this role is responsible for the profitable growth of their Marketplace channels. This includes all aspects of the business, managing day to day operations, assortment, pricing, promotions, advertising and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities: - Directly or through or 3rd party Partners, develop, implement and measure the success of Marketplace strategies as it pertains to the overall goals and objectives of the business
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central as well as similar tools utilized by other marketplaces
- Build and optimize high-performing product listings through enhanced content, company promotions, on-site advertising and media, and other effective vehicles
- Have a strong POV on Paid search opportunities and make data-driven recommendations on new approaches, ad campaigns, or technical enhancements
- Partner with creative to ideate and launch new ads that stay within our brand guidelines but will drive engagement and purchases
- Build and optimize high-performing product listings leveraging seller/vendor central tools, enhanced/A+ content, company promotions, on site advertising and other effective vehicles
- Monitor, analyze and form conclusions based on key performance indicators and take appropriate action when course correction is required
- Review and approve account financials including the identification and resolution of discrepancies
- Manage inventory availability, replenishment and inventory discrepancies
- Work closely with customer service to mitigate any customer issues that may arise in the fulfillment of Marketplace demand
- Manage and scale continually growing monthly budgets
- Develop strategies on copy and landing pages to increase conversion
- Design and execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute full-funnel campaigns in support of awareness, consideration, conversion, and pipeline
- Research and analyze competitor advertising campaigns and communicate to relevant stakeholders
- Perform A/B testing on advertisement copy and messaging to improve conversion rates
- Set up and launches pay-per-click campaigns on Search and Display networks
- Recommend and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring and targeting
Qualifications: - Three-3 years of E-commerce experience
- Experience managing Marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart and others
- Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting, content management systems and processes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Entrepreneurial by nature
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
