What You'll Do:
- Design and develop intricate machine models and engineering drawings, contributing to the evolution of Wexxar’s product lines.
- Utilize SolidWorks to craft and refine part models, assemblies, and drawings.
- Ensure the precision and quality of engineering documentation and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Be the critical link between Engineering and Production, facilitating smooth operations.
- Innovatively address engineering and production challenges as they emerge.
- Embrace a variety of responsibilities that enrich your professional experience.
Who We're Looking For:
- You bring experience in designing machinery within the manufacturing industry.
- Your knowledge in manufacturing processes and Design For Manufacture (DFM) stands out.
- You possess the ability to devise motion sequences and understand pneumatic component sizing.
- Your skills in prioritizing tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are exceptional.
- You are adept in SolidWorks, with certification being a significant plus.
- Your experience in the packaging or corrugated industry is highly valued.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of BOMs, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Engineering Change Control processes.
- You are inquisitive, innovative, and detail-oriented, with an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada is a must. No sponsorship is provided
