We are looking for a candidate with the requisite skills talent to take on this exciting new career opportunity. This Project Administrator role is an in office position with a company based in Kitchener, On.
What you will be doing:
- Generation and issuance of Purchase Orders in accordance with directives from the Management team
- Preparation and submission of shop drawings for approval, with subsequent filing of approved drawings into relevant project folders
- Regular updates to the Project Dashboard aligned with the Procurement schedule for individual projects
- Proactive communication and follow-ups regarding the status of deliverables with various internal and external stakeholders, including Management, Project Managers, clients, and suppliers
- Accurate data entry and manipulation in various platforms, such as Excel spreadsheets, project folders, and Project Management software
- Execution of additional assigned tasks, including but not limited to entering accounts payable invoices
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of pertinent purchasing and/or data entry experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a high-volume construction environment
- Possession of a post-secondary degree or diploma; a Purchasing designation would be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint Project Management software is considered an asset
Remuneration:
- $50,000 - $55,000
- RSP plan
- 3 weeks vacation
