Job description

Vacations Yorkton is a locally owned and operated agency which strives for ultimate customer service. Our mission statement is simply "your vacation matters to us!", and it truly does. This business has grown over 200% over the last few years and we are needing to add experienced agents to our team to keep up with demand and grown even more.

This is a Independent Contractor (IC) position as a Travel Consultant. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and selling unique travel experiences to clients. This includes creating personalized itineraries, making travel arrangements, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for clients. The role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as knowledge of popular travel destinations and various travel packages.

Qualifications

*Prior experience in the travel industry or equivalent education in
travel, tourism, or hospitality
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Great attention to detail and organizational skills
*Ability to work independently and remotely
*Ability to use industry-specific software tools (e.g. Sirev,
Agentmate or Clientbase)
*Knowledge of popular travel destinations and packages
*Expert Computer skills
*Update to date or willing to learn new technology in the industry
