Department of Functional Area: Long-Term Program / Community Office

Reports to: Program Director

Duties & Responsibilities:This is not a complete list of this position’s duties and responsibilities. The items below are examples of the types of activities performed. Other duties may be assigned.

Position Overview 

Providing mature leadership to students and fostering a Christ-centered atmosphere at ATCCC Ministries, while overseeing the daily operations of recovery and discipleship programs. The role includes planning, coordinating, and administering these programs, along with fundraising, awareness activities, special event organization, and conducting presentations in churches, schools, and community outreach initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Provide mature and Christ like leadership and supervision to all students

Ensure all scheduled events, rules and procedures of the program are followed

Provide supervision for approved on location visits with students and their contacts

Facilitate student medication times, ensure proper dispensing and recording procedures are being completed

Assist with student appointments

Assist with class supervision, helping students with their contracts and ensure class progression recording measures are completed

Assist Phase Managers with their responsibilities

Assist with the facilitation of support groups

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Provides the first point of contact for community members. Assessing individual needs and connecting people to the next step for support. (Detox, Housing, Program Application, Medicals,  pastoral counselling, mentorship etc…)

Performs initial mental health assessments for clients applying to the program. Assisting in the intake process and helping them with the paperwork required to attend the program/s applied for.  (ATCCC, Other partner organizations, Physical or further Mental Health assessments etc…)

Networks and builds relationships with parallel agencies for referrals such as mental health, employment, shelters, detox, youth services.

Leads and organizes community support groups (ie., Ready Now Recovery) and provides support and training to all other facilitators and groups.

Recruits, filters & trains volunteers for all levels of ministries needs. Including appropriate directors when applicable.

Serves the ATCCC after care ministries by providing accountability, support and mentorship as needed to ensure that the ATCCC DNA is realized and carried out.

Coordinates & represents ATCCC at churches, schools, special events or other events.

Plans Monthly ATCCC "Freedom Church"

Raises awareness of the organization and its primary goals through outreach efforts, regular events in the community, publications, and media relations. 

Cultivates and maintains relationships with local donors by responding to their inquiries, keeping them apprised of recent events with the organization and showing them the progress their donations have made possible.

Assists with the development of local ministry growth, fundraising, administration, planning and communication 

Assist with a standard of excellence in the maintenance of facilities, vehicles and all other ATCCC property.

Ensures accurate reports and information are being accomplished.

Trained and willing to help cover vacation/sick days for staff.

Ensures office setup, decoration, cleanliness and maintenance of community office.

Key Factors:

Able to self-manage time well. Must be flexible with hours/days worked as needs arise, evening and weekends required.

Willing to participate in training and development as requested

Budgetary: To participate, promote and support fundraising for the ministry of ATCCC.

Collaboration: Responsible for maintaining close collaboration with both the Program Director, pertaining to program-related matters, and the Community Office Director, in regard to community office issues. This entails actively communicating with both the Program Director and the Community Office Director to report hours worked, task updates, and promptly addressing any emerging needs in both the Long-Term Program and Community Office context.

Decision Making: Communicate and report suggested changes with the director for approval.

Qualifications:

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and highly effective communication abilities.

Maintain a strong focus on the purpose of the ATCCC discipleship model.

Possess an understanding of human nature and the physical and spiritual battles faced by students.

Exhibit emotional and spiritual maturity.

Actively foster and maintain excellent working relationships with all program staff and departments.

Mentor and lead others.

Handle tense situations effectively.

Adapt to web-based programs and reporting with a working knowledge and willingness to learn.

Show a willingness to learn and remain teachable.

Inspire trust and camaraderie among employees and potential donors.

Be a highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated understanding of development strategies and public relations.

Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of potential donors and clients.

Possess essential public speaking skills for speeches at fundraising events, presentations to donors on recent achievements, and meetings with the local volunteer advisory team.

Have a valid class 5 drivers license.

Compensation

$50,000.00 per year
