Job description
We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to join our dynamic team for our spring fly-in and fly-out opportunities. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating heavy equipment, primarily Haul Trucks, in our open pit mine. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who prioritize safety, efficiency, and work-life balance—allowing you to focus on your work while enjoying a 7/7 schedule. What would you be doing?
Operate a Haul Truck or other heavy equipment in an open pit mine.
Operating assigned heavy equipment safely and in an efficient manner.
Understanding and adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards.
Participating in all safety and culture-building programs.
Training on new equipment when requested.
Does this sound like you?
Valid driver's license with 3 years drivers abstract required .
Minimum of 2000 hours of work experience operating a 773 or larger Haul Truck.
Diverse Heavy Equipment experience is considered an asset, including any combination of Dozer, Excavator, Grader and Rock Truck experience.
Open-pit mining experience is considered an asset.
High school diploma and/or post-secondary degree is considered an asset.
