Job description

HM Note: This hybrid role is three days in office and the position commences April 2 2024

Description:

1. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Provide leadership and expertise to oversee the sustainment (e.g. support operations maintenance incident/problem management enhancement) and evolution of Public Secure.

2. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Provide leadership to the onboarding of program areas to Public Secure.

3. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Provide technical advice to senior IT and business management on leveraging Public Secure to modernize the delivery of public services including resolving complex business and technology problems.

4. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Drive and lead a multidisciplinary team of OPS and vendor subject matter experts (SMEs) in order to sustain and evolve Public Secure in accordance with OPS legislation policy and standards ensuring high level of quality.

5. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Define the work standards and processes to maintain and support Public Secure.

6. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Lead the daytoday work of the Public Secure team which includes: task assignments managing priorities monitoring team deliverables and resolving problems and removing roadblocks.

7. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Manages external vendors (e.g. KeyData Okta) and internal service partners (e.g. Shared Utility Service Infrastructure Technology Services).

Skills

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

1. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Technical Skills (30%)

1.1. and nbsp;10 years experience in technology leadership roles for applications with of over 10000 users.

1.2. and nbsp;10 years demonstrated experience in leading implementations of identity systems and identity management services.

1.3. and nbsp;Experience and indepth knowledge of identity management protocols such as OAuth 2.0 OIDC and SAML 2.0.

1.4. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience with implementations of Single SignOn (SSO) solutions identity federations including identity provisioning as well as multi factor authentication systems.

1.5. and nbsp;Experience with integrating applications with cloudbased identity services such as Okta Azure AD B2C and Auth0.

1.6. and nbsp;Knowledge of IT Security Technologies particularly encryption and authentication technologies.

1.7. and nbsp;Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management Problem Management Change Management Release Management and Capacity Management.

1.8. and nbsp;10 years of experience with quality control and assurance methodologies and practices as applied to the implementation of large applications.

2. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Technology Operations Leadership (30%)

2.1. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in leading the support of large technology applications to meet service levels and client expectations through teams comprised of multidisciplinary resources and stakeholders.

2.2. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in leading complex technical Proof of Concepts and providing reports including recommendations based on the results.

2.3. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of operational processes and business continuity plans.

2.4. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in documenting tracking and managing issues and service requests including impact assessments of complex issues.

2.5. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in providing clients with support for issue investigation troubleshooting and resolution.

2.6. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in leading root cause analysis for infrastructure and application related issues and incidents.

2.7. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in managing technical environments to ensure they are compliant with security requirements both physically and at a systems level as per industry best practices and documented guidelines.

2.8. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in creation and review of build books run books operational and deployment guides and other operational processes as required.

2.9. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in acting as a central point of contact for all incidents and problems in the daytoday.

3. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Vendor Management Experience (15%)

3.1. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience working with and managing external vendor relationships.

3.2. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience in evaluating and accepting vendor deliverables; documenting change requests and providing input to contract negotiations.

4. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Stakeholder Management (25%)

4.1. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with team clients various stakeholder and senior management.

4.2. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience reporting on progress of deliverables milestones issues and risks to various audiences including steering committees and formal status reporting.

4.3. and nbsp;Demonstrated experience preparing documentation such as Presentations other technical documentation/deliverables (i.e. technical strategy document option analysis) etc.

4.4. and nbsp;Experience providing updates and advice to senior management.

4.5. and nbsp;Experience presenting to executive steering committees responsible for project oversight and decisionmaking.

Must Haves:

  1. Leadership demonstration from a technology stand point drive technical team for implementation and resolution
  2. 10 years demonstrated experience in leading implementations of identity systems and identity management services.
  3. Experience with integrating applications with cloudbased identity services such as Okta Azure AD B2C and Auth0.
  4. Demonstrated experience with implementations of Single SignOn (SSO) solutions identity federations including identity provisioning as well as multi factor authentication systems
