Due to the high demand for our services and for the expertise of our exceptional team, we’re growing, and currently searching for a Program Manager, Housing to managing our Transitional Housing and Affordable Housing Programs.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range starting at $72,800 per year plus the Northern Allowance benefit of $16,088 per year.
- Northern Employees Benefits Service (NEBS) which includes health insurance and pension plan.
- Six weeks vacation.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
- Lead the coordination and delivery of skills workshops for clients.
- Monitor program outcomes, oversee accurate data collection and produce reports.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Manage housing applications and waiting list.
- Manage program budgets, assist with funding applications and oversee rent payments.
- Recruit, train, manage and develop program staff.
- Administer HR policies, develop training materials and review/approve expenses.
Client Service:
- Oversee Affordable Housing Program case management.
- Manage a Transitional Housing Program caseload and manage Caseworkers.
- Oversee all Tenant Relations activities including creating individual program plans, aiding them in maintain their tenancy, connecting clients with community services and advocating on their behalf.
- Build supportive relationships using trauma-informed approaches; and de-escalate incidents as needed.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community service providers.
Key Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing support and managing programs for homeless, marginalized and/or indigenous populations.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships along with strong conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborative and constructive; well-suited to thrive in a cross-functional team and diverse cultural environment.
- Superior organizational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to meet tight timelines and deliver timely results that are on-budget.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, Teams and social media platforms.
- Current WHMIS and First Aid/CPR ‘C’ certification.
- Clear TB screen and criminal record / vulnerable sector check.
- Valid Driver’s Licence with clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Experience working with Indigenous populations in a northern context is preferred.
