Position: Senior Backend Engineer
The Senior Backend Engineer focused on developing in Laravel and leveraging DevOps skills for environments and deployments. This position is a central part of the Coaching.com engineering team, and helps to architect, scale, and optimize the API & Database tiers for the platform. The Senior Backend Engineer is a master of Laravel and is capable of troubleshooting and debugging. This role is involved in working with product, quality assurance, and customer success team members to resolve issues and move the software forward. The Senior Backend Engineer is involved in all areas of development, and delivers high impact with routine and beautiful code.

You have used Laravel at scale in a production environment
You know PHP as well as you know yourself
You are able to increase the speed of the development team
You care about elevating customer experience
You are skilled at managing databases, designing DB schemas, using database views, stored procedures, triggers and user-defined data types
You have worked in DevOps or have been responsible for DevOps related tasks
You pride yourself in writing clear and maintainable code
You are familiar around with APIs solution
You can apply functional concepts of programming in multiple languages
Requirements
8+ years of experience
Expert level knowledge of Laravel <- A must
Experience in MySQL database design and optimization
College degree in computer science or related field is preferred
Proficiency in English
