Snow School Instructor
Wage: $18.00 - $27.00 Dependent on Certification Level

We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Snow School Instructor to join our Snow School team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
* Instruct and coach guests of all ages and abilities to ski or snowboard within your instructor's certification level in a group or one-on-one setting.
* Properly assess students of their ability and place them in the appropriate groups
* Set up and take down lesson equipment
* Set up and take down crowd control measures and snow school signage.
* Assist Ski School Supervisor in lesson planning
* Adherence and teaching of the Alpine Responsibility Code
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
* Minimum level 1 or higher of Canadian recognized Ski or Snowboard Instructor Certification or equivalent. (An additional $2p/h is paid for each additional certification level & an additional $1p/h is paid for a dual certified instructor per level)
* Dual certification is an asset.
* A minimum of intermediate ski/snowboard ability
* Knowledge of the Alpine Responsibility Code
* Strong customer service skills
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
* Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player
* Must have own equipment
* Previous knowledge of the ski hill is an asset
This is a
Seasonal Position so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter
Season (until April 1). As a seasonal team member you may be presented with
opportunities to cross train and support in other departments to meet seasonal
demands.
