Associate Lawyer

Legate Law

Location

London, ON | Canada

Job description

At Legate Injury Lawyers you will be working with a forward-thinking progressive-minded team. You will be challenged, you will be well-compensated, and you will be one of the first Londoners to be paid a full-time wage while working a modified four-day workweek (after your probationary / training period is completed). With a health benefits package from Canada Life, paired with a staff bonus structure, transportation allowance, we are offering the complete employment package – A fulltime career in a challenging field, a well-rounded compensation package, and an opportunity to grow as a professional working with experienced, collegial, well-respected clerks and lawyers alike.

Our practice is restricted to serious personal injury, medical negligence, and birth trauma. We believe that the only way to prepare a case is to know it inside and out, develop it systematically, and advocate for the client vigorously.

We are proud of the work we do for our clients. Isn’t it time you felt good about what you do?

We seek a colleague who has experience in motor vehicle accident litigation, statutory accident benefits, and/or medical negligence litigation. The position involves all areas of personal injury litigation, insurance, tort law, evidence, and medical negligence; court and trial attendance; and client interviews.

The ideal candidate has 3 – 5+ year’s litigation experience, and the ability to manage files through to trial. This position offers the opportunity to develop your own practice. Preference will be given to candidates with medical negligence experience.

Qualified candidates are invited to send a resume in confidence, along with a sample of written work to Dustin Soares – [email protected], quoting job code LAW-2022 in the subject line of your email.

We appreciate all interest in our firm, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
