Role Description

MD Law Group, located in Edmonton, AB, is seeking a full-time Family lawyer to join our team. The Family lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child support, custody, and access. The Family lawyer will also provide guidance to clients on the legal process, negotiate settlements, and appear in court.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed lawyer with a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in family law, preferably in private practice
• Strong knowledge of family law legislation and court procedures in Alberta
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and critically
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
