Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant
John Walker Insurance is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to work in our commercial lines department. This individual will work closely with the commercial management to service a book of business. You will apply your knowledge in commercial insurance to assist customers in their insurance needs.
Full Time- Monday to Friday
Job Description
- Manage renewal information.
- Interact with clients to manage day to day requests.
- Prepare insurance submissions, proposals and summaries of insurance.
- Process New Business, policy endorsements, and invoicing.
- Issue certificates of Insurance and Confirmation of insurance when needed.
- Maintain a close relationship with underwriters and insurance partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 Years commercial insurance experience
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge in Power Broker and Policy Works and Commercial Express would be a definite asset
- Have Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Be self-motivated and a team player
- Industry Licensing a definite asset
