Your new role

Reporting directly to the Director, Property Management (West), the Property Manager is an individual seeking to manage a portfolio comprised of primarily residential properties and some commercial. From overseeing the overall performance of the properties and managing Site Teams, the Property Manager is a multi-faceted leader of all operations and financial activities. Your responsibilities span a spectrum of strategic initiatives, from conducting meticulous property inspections to orchestrating proactive maintenance programs and championing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) endeavors. You will craft comprehensive monthly reports and spearhead cost control measures and dive into the realm of procurement by sourcing quotes for major projects plus skillfully negotiating service contracts and renewals. You will also coordinate tenders for capital enhancement ventures, collaborating closely with the Asset Management team to navigate pivotal operational challenges.


What You Need to Succeed:

To excel in this position, you must possess proven experience as a Property Manager in Canada. It is essential that you hold a valid BCFSA Rental Property Management License and have access to a reliable vehicle. Your mastery of the intricacies of the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA), combined with superb communication skills, sets you apart. We also welcome applications from Assistant or Junior Property Managers who are eager to advance their careers. Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of Yardi and a driven, go-getter personality.

What You Will Receive in Return:

In exchange for your commitment to the role, you will enjoy a competitive salary, including a base salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, along with other benefits such as 4 weeks of vacation, a flexible/hybrid work environment, extended health benefits from day one, a defined pension, tuition reimbursement, a fitness allowance, parking, and a car allowance.
