Job description

This is a contract position for a Project Manager / Leader - Senior for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
The Sr. Project Manager will support the program management of the Digital Identity project. The key high-level deliverables including,
- Support the development of the digital identity program, service and operations.
- Outputs include, but not limited to: Develop integrated project plans, ensuring accurate and appropriate inclusion of deliverables, milestones, project budget, resources, inter-project dependencies and progress reporting
- Experience managing and coordinating project monitoring, anticipates and troubleshoots issues, provides ongoing expertise, resolves problems, and provides project effectiveness

- Outputs include, but not limited to: Develop project charters, project plans and other project artifacts as required, organize and lead project team meetings.
- Responsible for managing working relationships with vendors and delivery partners as required.
- Outputs include, but not limited to: track engagements, maintain status reports and proactively identifying risks.
- Maintain sound working relationship and effective communication with project, team and external stakeholders.
- Outputs include, but not limited to: monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository track engagements, and schedule meetings.

Deliverables include, but are not limited to:
· Accountable for on time, on budget completion of assigned projects following the Agency’s project governance framework and project management methodology
· Responsible for resource management, scope management, budget and schedule management for the assigned projects
· Maintain sound working relationship and effective communication with project stakeholder and team
· Develop project charters, project plans and other project artifacts as required
· Organize and lead project team meetings
· Ensure effective project change control
· Provide financial forecasts, actual against budget tracking and report progress to stakeholders
· Proactively manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate issues
· Ensure project reporting and forecasting is timely, accurate and appropriate for the various stakeholders
· Follow the Agency’s methodologies and provide feedback for continuous improvement
· Adhering to and promoting eHealth Ontario policies and standards, including privacy, security and architecture
· Manage transition to an operational environment
· Responsible for managing working relationships with vendors and delivery partners as required
· Provide knowledge transfer documents and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for all the above deliverables with assigned Ontario Health subject matter experts.

Qualifications
Experience with project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high risk projects.
Experience managing and coordinating project activities and teams, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, providing leadership and ensuring project effectiveness
Experience handling client relationships, managing expectations, providing updates as required, identifies potential conflicts between project and functional areas
