Drywall Installer

GMK Drywall located at 74 Saddlehorn CL NE Calgary, Alberta, T3J 5C6 Canada, urgently requires 3 Drywall Installers.

Job Duties:

• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads in order to protect exterior corners
• Using a trowel and broad knife, fill holes, joints, cracks and nail indentations with joint compound
• Allow the coat to dry and smooth out excessive compound
• Sand seams and joints, as well as applying successive coats of compound
• Fabricate and install metal ceiling grids, place in panels to form acoustical and coffered

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position

Position Available: 3

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Language: Basic English is required

Wage: $ 28.85 hourly

Location of work: (Candidates are required to work at various locations in the lower mainland British Columbia)

Eligibility:

• No education is required.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
