Immediate opening for a full-time Manufacturing Millwright to work at our Delta, BC branch.

Are you an ambitious Millwright with at least their 2nd year hours - (red seal preferred not required), looking for a promising, permanent career opportunity in Delta, BC? We are looking for someone just like you with experience as a Maintenance Millwright possibly in a Mining field, that is wanting to grow their skills in the manufacturing industry! During your day to day you would assist with repairs, PM's on machines, changes and install industrial blades onto shredders or grinders, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. We work in a fairly fast-paced environment that can sometimes be physically demanding, and in sometimes unideal work environments so we are looking for someone motivated! Location: Delta, BC
Shift: Days and Afternoons (either or no rotation) Tuesday- Saturday or Sunday to Thursday preferred (Open to Mon-Fri)
Shift Time: Days 7:00AM- 3:30PM or Afternoons 3:00PM-11:30PM

Wage offered: $42-$45 depending on certificate level completed
Must be okay working in a recycling environment.

Responsibilities
- PMs on production machines such as grinders, shredders, molding machines, conveyors, hydraulics and mechanical pumps
- Good physical shape to bed, stand, crouch, lift, or walk for most of the day
- Ability to follow a queue for upcoming instructions and new jobs available daily
- Repair, Maintain and Troubleshoot new to very old manufacturing machines
- Maintain safety and ensure quality control met. Log findings and tracker maintenance schedule
- Collaborate with your team to ensure all tasks are delegated properly to keep production moving
- Work with extruders to ensure they are running and ability to work in sometimes warmer environments

Qualifications
- Background in Mining or Manufacturing preferred
- 2nd- 3rd Year apprentice or Red Seal Certified preferred
- Experience with preventative maintenance on large scale equipment at a fast pace
- Ability to learn and keep your patience with older machines, you will have tons of support
- Work in sometimes unideal situations such as with extreme temperatures, dusty areas, or sometimes physically demanding projects
- You might enjoy working with your hands, or problem solving
- Located in or around the Delta, BC area
