Payroll Administrator

We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our growing team!

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Payroll Administrator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Managing time sheets submitted by all Forest Group Employees
- This includes entering payroll data into B2W Construction Software, generating weekly reports for payroll and reviewing said data with Senior Management to administer weekly pay cheques.
- Management of payroll records.
- Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Distributing payroll to employees.
- Tracking Forest Assets through the use of GPS devices to ensure reported hours are accurate.
- Ensuring claims of missed hours on employee pay cheques are investigated and confirmed with their foremen/supervisors as needed.
- Verify attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
- Reviewing and reimbursing employee receipts as may be necessary.
- Supporting the Human Resources department with various administrative tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A degree or diploma in an Administrative field is preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in Human Resources & Payroll Administration is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- The flexibility to adapt and change to a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to multi-task effectively
- Very strong computer skills and experience with Excel, Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
