Position Overview:
As the General Manager - Technical Services, you'll be at the forefront of managing critical aspects of our client's operations. From Applications Engineering to Field Services, Inventory, and Parts management, your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of functions. Leading a team of 50+ employees across multiple departments, you'll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all service, parts/inventory, and application teams, with direct supervision of three key reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within departments, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage scheduling and provide support as needed, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and customer service acumen.
- Spearhead training and hiring initiatives, equipping employees with the tools and knowledge needed for success.
- Develop and implement technical training programs to enhance the skill set of the entire staff.
- Implement strategic initiatives to maximize productivity across all departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technical services or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
