Job description

Are you an experienced Mold Maker in the Kitchener area seeking your next opportunity in a leadership capacity?

This is a small but dynamic team in a very supportive environment.

We are seeking a certified Mold Maker or a licensed Tool and Die Maker to lead a team within the thriving automotive industry. This is an afternoon shift position leading a team of two Mould Making professionals under the current supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Instruct apprentices and others in tool area when necessary
- Manually making molds
- Report to and support the tool room manager
- Attend and participate in production meetings
- Perform tool improvements, repairs and inspections on new and existing molds
- Oversee tool preventative maintenance program
- Assist in training new tooling and molding employees as necessary

Qualifications
-Mold maker certification with background in injection mould making

-OR a licensed Tool Maker with background in injection mould making
-Ability to use mill machine, grinders, and other tools
