Collection Specialist and Receivables

Position: Collection Specialist and Receivables
Shift: Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
Western accounts- 10-6 / 11 to 7 schedule
Salary: Competitive compensation ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 based on experience
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent
Domain: Food Industry

Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for managing a portfolio of Western customer accounts

- Conduct weekly analyses of payment arrangements and investigate unpaid invoices and deductions.
- Resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Document daily activities in the company's system.
- Ensure compliance with credit limits and manage outstanding orders.
- Respond to external and internal customer account inquiries.
- Prepare documentation related to deductions and perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in a credit/commercial collections (B2B) environment.
- Exhibit excellent bilingualism in English and French (speaking and writing).
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ideally Maestro.
- Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as customer service orientation.
- Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills, along with attention to detail.
- Be able to adapt to a changing working environment.
