About the Role:
The Manager, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is an innovative equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) leader who manages projects and workforce initiatives aimed at improving EDI across our six client ministries. This role also provides strategic advice to clients regarding EDI initiatives, and designs and delivers diversity and inclusion training, workshops, and other offerings to support client learning. This position supports the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives aligned with governing legislation and ministry mandate letters by working in partnership with ministry executive and cross-ministry collaboration bodies.

This role’s primary work will involve supporting and leading aspects of the development and implementation of a 3-year EDI Action Plan for the Natural Resource Sector.

About CSNR:
Corporate Services for the Natural Resource Ministries (CSNR) supports the six natural resource ministries (Agriculture and Food; Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation; Environment and Climate Change Strategy; Forests; Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation; and Water, Land and Resource Stewardship). CSNR is one of the largest corporate services organizations across the BC public service, led by two ADMs, for approximately 7,000 natural resource ministry employees in over 120 locations throughout the province. These services include all aspects of financial planning, budget management, financial operations, ministry human resources, and facilities and asset management. CSNR's vision is to be trusted partners and service providers sharing in the success of the Natural Resource Sector (NRS). Position Considerations:
Currently there is 1 permanent opportunity available.
This position can be based in any Ministry of Water, Land, and Resource Stewardship office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to four (4) days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
This position is excluded from union membership.
