Title: Junior accountant, Accounting analyst
Location: Montreal (Ville Saint-Laurent, hybrid)
Permanent position
Salary: 65 000-73 000$
Our client, a growing company is looking for a junior accountant/accounting analyst to join their dynamic team !
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone in the process of obtaining their CPA designation or with a Bachelor's degree who is looking for an advancement. You will have the opportunity to have a position as the right hand of CPA controller and to be able to work on various projects

Responsibilities
-Maintain assigned general ledger or subsidiary ledger accounts by reviewing documents
-Record appropriate journal entries and reconcile them on a monthly basis
-Assist in the month-end and year-end close.
-Perform transaction-level data analysis to ensure proper accounting.
-Prepare various reports and bank reconciliation
Support various audits by providing accounting documents, schedules, and other relevant information
-Prepare government reports
Qualifications
-Must be a self-starter, results-driven
-Able to work in a dynamic environment
-Positive and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a variety of team members in various departments.
-Excellent time management and organizational skills.
-Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills ( Vlookup)
-Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
-Minimum of 2 to 5 years with the full cycle of accounting
-Collegial degree with experience of Bachelor's degree
- CPA in progress ( asset)
