Account Managers are the primary point of contact for our clients. IDG Account Managers focus on building and maintaining long-lasting relationships by taking charge of client requirements and delivering excellence.

To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional communication, organizational and collaboration skills. You are resourceful, analytical, creative and adaptable – with an unrelenting drive to help our clients win in-store.

Your creativity in managing relationships and developing new business will be supported by IDG’s incredible industrial design and project management teams who are the best in the business and a lot of fun to work with.

Note: This is not a remote role . We’re incredibly proud of our corporate culture and the collaborative, safe environment we have fostered at our headquarters in Vaughan. Only applicants who currently reside in Ontario will be considered .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives while sharing new innovations and approaches that will help them succeed.
• Lead kick-off meetings and collaborate with internal departments to fulfill client requirements.
• Compile meticulous account notes and report on client updates, project revisions and forecasts.
• Develop deep knowledge of IDG capabilities and services and how they align with different retail verticals.
• Focus on client success by proactively advocating for the optimal in-store experience for consumers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Completion of a Professional Sales Accreditation is preferred.
• Excellent skills in project and relationship management, fluent with MS Office applications. A cursory understanding of CAD drawings is a plus.
• Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data and deep proficiency in negotiating requirements, deliverables and timelines.
• You are an eager team-player who works collaboratively yet thrives in an autonomous role that encourages entrepreneurial thinking.

*Accredited Professional Sales programs are offered at many Ontario colleges and universities including: Centennial College, Brock University, Conestoga College, Durham College, Laurier, Mohawk College, Niagara College, Toronto Metropolitan University, Humber University, Sheridan, Algonquin College, Seneca and George Brown College.
