Job description
I am starting to take applications for full-time painter positions along with one part-time pressure washer. If you or anyone you know is in university or any school for that matter, that is looking for a summer job, please feel free to share this with them or send me your resume. I am offering: * Full-time (MAY2024 - AUGUST2024) * Training and equipment provided What I need from you: * Can lift up to 50-60lbs * Have FULL access to a vehicle (Being able to transport equipment is a plus) * Punctual, trustworthy, and a stellar attitude * A proud and determined mindset What you can expect from this summer: *Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks - Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces - Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply coats of paint - Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection - Clean up work areas and remove hazardous materials - Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear * Lots of work on ladders 10ft-30ft up (must be comfortable with heights) * Edmonton’s weather! * Cold treats on hot days * Flyer dropping and cold calling Benefits: * Gain experience in communication, team work, and of course painting! * WCB coverage * Piece rate **If I do not contact you, thank you so much for taking the time to send me your resume and I wish you the best of luck this summer.
