Job Description
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires a highly knowledgeable individual with years of experience in executive team management, negotiation, office administration, and sales presentations.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage project teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects.
- Negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to secure optimal services and approvals.
- Expedite overall office administration processes to streamline project workflows.
- Foster positive relations with staff, partners, and regulatory authorities, particularly in the Niagara region.
- Conduct sales presentations to secure new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Acquire all necessary project approvals, permits, and agreements, leveraging excellent relationships with local authorities.
- Utilize project management software, including Microsoft Project, Procore, and other relevant tools, to effectively manage project timelines and resources.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in executive team management and project leadership roles within the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Procore.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of LEED projects and industry trends is advantageous
- OGCA Gold Seal Certified Project Manager, an asset.
- Relevant industry awards and certifications are a plus.
- Preference for candidates living in, or within a reasonable commute to Niagara.
