Quality Control Technician

Our client, a growing biotech company, is looking for a Quality Control Technician. This position reports to the Production Manager.
- Purchase and receive chemicals and raw materials needed for QC activities;
- Perform the raw material release for QC and production departments;
- Prepare reagents, buffers, labels, etc.;
- Analyze samples related to the release testing for diagnostic and research enzyme production;
- Verify analytical reports and follows up anomalies;
- Perform stability studies on enzyme products;
- Perform tests such as HPLC analysis, protein analysis, enzymatic activity assays, ELISA assays, etc.
- Perform release testing of ELISA kits and prepare the required documentation;
- Assist in the assembly of ELISA kits;
- Participate in the maintenance and calibration program for laboratory equipment;
- Draft and review QC documentation such as QC SOPs, stability protocols, reports and equipment log books
- Perform validation tests for the equipment and methods
- Draft monthly reports for supervisor's review and approval
- Assist in the investigation of deviations and execute the investigation process.
Requirements:
- DEC in relevant science discipline;
- At least 2 years of laboratory experience, including 1 year of experience in a QC function;
- Good pipetting skills
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook, statistical and graphical software, etc.;
- Bilingual.
