In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at Island Health; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Contract Coordinator is responsible for overseeing contract coordination. This position manages and coordinates multi-million dollar contracts across the portfolio and across Vancouver Island. The Contract Coordinator leads or participates in identified contract management projects, manages all aspects of contract payment, reports and monitoring, and liaises with contract stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Baccalaureate degree in a relevant discipline and/or recognized accounting designation. Minimum five years' relevant experience preferably with a clinical background or strong understanding of surgery, or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the organization. Experience with contract management, preferably within healthcare.
