Learning Environment Project Associate - Ontario, Canada This position is responsible for assisting Learning Environment Project Coordinators in obtaining data required to manage successful projects. The Project Associate is responsible for obtaining data (ship dates, tracking information, etas) from vendors and carriers, The position requires prompt and accurate data entry; associates will be required to export and save sales support reports (including but not limited to: Project Shipping Detail Reports, Vendor Shipping Detail Reports, Product Summary Reports, Project Installation Lists, Room by Room Reports, Stock Lists, and Punch Lists) to ensure that they are always up to date and that Project Coordinators are equipped with accurate information.
The Learning Environment Project Associate will prepare and send installer paperwork packets. This position will partner with Project Coordinators to help investigate problems and to resolve punch lists issues, initiating replacement orders, requesting vendor credits, filing freight claims when necessary, and will assist with working open order line reports and vendor invoice discrepancies.
The base salary range for this role is
$37K-$55K Annually Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario Office Summary of Primary Responsibilities - Act as the Project Coordinators primary information source, obtaining information from vendors and carriers so that PCs may effectively and efficiently function as the primary communicator to our internal and external customers.
- Perform shipment Inquiry for direct dropship Purchase Orders, Fulfillment Center Sales Orders, and support PSAs by providing accurate and timely detailed information through final punch list completion.
- Assist with several facets of project management to ensure on schedule project completion, within determined financial goals, and to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
- Obtain specifics regarding furniture and equipment deliveries from vendors and freight carriers, schedule delivery appointments, and finalize delivery schedules.
- Assist in moving ship dates with vendors or rerouting shipments with carriers when exceptions occur as a result of delays within the construction environment.
- Develop customer, vendor, and product knowledge expertise.
Minimum Experience Requirements - High School Diploma.
- Prefer interest in project management, furniture and equipment, construction, and/or a related field.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills - High level proficiency in PC based programs, including spreadsheet and database programs.
- Highly organized, attentive to details, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to perform mathematical operations.
- Ability to read and understand architectural blueprints.
