We're looking for a permanent accounting technician for a large company in Pointe-Claire.

POSITION TITLE: Accounting Technician
POSITION TYPE: Permanent
LOCATION: Pointe-Claire, Hybride, 2 days a week in the office
SALARY: 60 to 67 K per year

Responsibilities
In this Accounting Technician role, you will:
Validate accuracy and update all transactions in the buffer sheet.
Fill in forms, submit them to the financial portal and transfer them to the buffer.
Prepare and post journal entries
Monitor transfers from brands and other departments.
Manage budget splitting and reclassification
Support administrative clerk with new supplier forms, cross-branding projects, technical aspects of the system, etc.

Handle all quarterly and month-end tasks
Estimate accruals and prepayments.
Supplier accounting follow-up

Qualifications
5 years' experience in accounting
DEC or Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (or related discipline)
Interpersonal communication skills
Sense of organization and initiative
Bilingualism (perfect command of English)
