We are building a team of dependable, safe drivers for a local company. Become a DZ Driver with a company where all driving is local no long-haul driving!
Unique opportunity to get hired on direct for long term permanent employment OR if you are only looking for a 34-month term position that starts immediately, we can accommodate a term position while we look for permanent.
PLEASE NOTE: 1 year DZ driving experience required. 75% of the role is typically performed driving in a truck with little chance of interruptions but requires a high level of concentration.
What we offer
Hours: Expected schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-14 hour days (Earlier start time, overtime and weekend work may be required). Must follow Hours of Service regulations as set by the Highway Traffic Act Ontario Regulation 555-06.
Competitive salary of $28 - $29 per hour

What you bring
You have a valid DZ License, with clean CVOR and Abstract
You have a minimum of 1 year of experience as DZ driver.
You have a minimum 1-year warehouse inventory experience, billing, filling purchase orders.
You can lift, bend and crouch to fill tankers.
You are looking to grow long term with the company.
You are confident in completing paperwork and using a computer.
You use equipment safely- every time.
You take pride in getting deliveries completed safely, and on time.
Defensive driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations with a strong commitment to safety.
Clear, concise, and professional communicator
Mechanically inclined to detect basic malfunctions on truck being operated.
What you do
Operate a fuel delivery truck.
Travel to each location and offload the product.
Maintain the truck, and storage box to ensure operating safe and clean.
Organize shipping documents and products.
Count incoming orders.
Pick orders and load them.
Ensure orders are accurate.
Perform item inventory count.
Package lubricants following the outlined process.
Wash tanks and trucks
Loading, unload, and secure payloads at their source and destination
Wash tanks and keep the warehouse and the yard clean and safe by sweeping, emptying garbage, and removing any debris and tripping hazards.
Inspect vehicle before each trip, and ensure repairs are made when required.
Accurately obtain require signatures on rental contracts, pick up and exchange forms
