Job description

The Resort Village of Candle Lake, Operations and Public Works department is seeking a Full-Time Landfill Attendant with the ability or willing to train to operate heavy equipment.   The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible workweek schedule.    

Principle Duties & Responsibilities: (may include but are not limited to)
Inspections and reporting
Heavy Equipment operation (compactor)
Waste collection
Other general labour
Data tracking and documentation
Exhibit professionalism while working in public settings
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Ability to comfortably lift up to 30lbs
General physical aptitude
