Job description
We're partnering with a leading ICI Construction company to find an experienced Site Supervisor. This role is pivotal in ensuring construction projects meet high-quality standards, comply with regulations, and stay on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute building projects in collaboration with project managers and designers.
- Interpret building plans, regulations, and codes to monitor compliance with construction documents.
- Coordinate on-site contractors and manage time scheduling, providing regular updates on progress.
- Ensure quality control by directing subcontractors and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain consistent and accurate paperwork, including work schedules, timecards, and project status updates.
- Direct subcontractors and employees to meet deadlines and ensure a high level of quality and safety
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of construction site supervisor experience.
- Experience with commercial construction and various trade disciplines.
- Post-secondary education in construction or equivalent training preferred.
- Proven ability to interpret and implement building plans, regulations, and codes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for proactive collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with concrete formwork layout and verification.
- Experience with structural steel layout and erection.
- Knowledge of health and safety provisions and coordination on construction sites.
