Pricing Manager
Reporting to the Branch Manager , the
Pricing Manager will help drive profitability and growth in the Branch You will be an integral member of a core team entrusted to manage pricing strategy and day to day pricing management for sales opportunities. Your strategic and analytical lens will ensure that
recommendations are rooted in meeting both our business priorities and financial objectives. You must be able to define business problems, perform rigorous data analyses, while investigating clear paths to inform and arrive at actionable decisions. Most importantly, you will leverage the breadth of your skills and experience to shift between deep analysis to clear recommendations to pricing execution.
Responsibilities:> Develop, lead, and execute pricing processes to support the business’ continuous growth and change.
> Collaborate with the Sales Teams while consulting them on pricing strategies for their products
> Build innovative pricing strategies and solutions for their sales team and customers.
> Measuring effectiveness of key initiatives, analyzing customer and market trends, and swiftly pivoting
when required backed by data driven insights
> Develop best practices for pricing, including pricing benchmarking initiatives
> Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that increase customer satisfaction and firm
profitability.
> Provide Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Sales Reports to the customers
> Present pricing KPIs and metrics to senior leadership for margin enhancement
> End-to-end management of price increase process for Calgary region and further communication to
different teams
> Building matrix structure and discounting model from which pricing generates
> Examination of disputes in customer pricing, independent analysis and recommend solutions
Qualifications: > Degree in Economics, Statistics, Management considered an asset
> Experience in consumer or business pricing environments
> Strong Excel/Power BI Skills for analytics
> Self-starter, highly organized with great work ethics
> Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and clearly communicate recommendations
> Comfortable with ambiguity and detail oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
> Sharp negotiation skills and adept at managing escalations with executive visibility.
> Strong cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal skills
> Proactive problem solving and ability to go above and beyond.
