Job description
Technical Rope & Rescue Inc. was established in 2007 and helps clients by ensuring safe progress in challenging work locations such as at height, in confined space, or remote locations. This includes offering comprehensive workplace wellbeing solutions such as training, advisory services, rope access, equipment, and emergency response.To continue our success, we require a Marketing Representative to assist with operations and to expand our capabilities and capacity. The right person will help us reach our goals and can learn and grow with us. We are seeking the right candidate to help grow the business by supporting management with sales initiatives and to help with marketing. The right person needs to have a strategic approach and to be very hands on and detail orientated. A challenging role but we know that the right person is out there and ready for this great opportunity.
Duties include:
· All aspects of business administration as it relates to marketing and branding.
· Identify business opportunities and assist with the development of a sales strategy.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
· Stay updated on market conditions and provide feedback for further development.
· Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's personnel and capabilities.
· Manage and update marketing materials including print and online content, while also creating marketing materials and promotional items.
· Support office, administrative, and operational functions, including tracking client information and assisting with proposal development.
· Order and manage equipment inventory as needed to support sales.
· Prepare quotations for equipment supply and rentals.
· Be a point of contact for our suppliers.
· Manage supply chains and associated logistics.
· Assist with basic contract administration and work with business manager to ensure invoicing is aligned with contractual pricing.
· Assist in evaluating potential business opportunities and supporting sales initiatives, such as preparing presentations and organizing trade shows.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree or College Diploma with Equivalent Industry Experience
· Have a track record of at least 3 years in an equivalent role, preferably in the oil & gas industry, large scale construction, safety &/or emergency response.
· Have a passion and motivation to excel in customer service excellence.
· Be an effective listener and have superior written and oral communication and presentation skills.
· Demonstrate strong leadership and client relationship skills.
· Be a strategic thinker to identify customer needs or challenges and identify solutions.
· Have flexibility to travel.
· Familiarity with Google Suite products, including Google Drive, Sheets, and Pages.
· MS Office proficient
· Experience working with high level executives
· Must be able to occasionally travel within the province to visit client’s work sites and attend promotional events
· Knowledge or background in industrial safety and/or emergency response would be an asset
