Job description

Randstad Guelph is recruiting for a long-term Industrial Assembler for a company located in Guelph that custom fabricates signage for various industries.

In this role, you will be using a machine to bend metal strips into shapes, using hand tools to attach them to a sign, and using industrial glue to attach the parts together.

The ideal candidate for this position has a background in industrial assembly, has experience with hand tools such as drills, experience with LED displays, has reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.

Here are the details of the role:

Day shift (8am-5pm), Monday-Friday
Wage: $20/hour
Location: Downtown Guelph

Responsibilities
Operate an Accubend machine
Use hand tools to attach pieces,
Use solvents and glue
Follow blueprints to assemble the signs
Ensure quality of signs

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work overtime as needed
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50lbs
