Job description
Our client a leader in their industry is seeking an Executive assistant to support their VP level executives. In this role, you will work closely with 4 executives to alleviate their administrative activities. The successful Executive Assistant will hold 5 years experience supporting C-level or higher. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required to manage reports, extract data for presentations and developing graphs.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
Supporting VP level Executives with their Calendar Management, Event Planning, Meeting Coordination and travel arrangements - the Executive Assistant is a critical role, providing administrative support to the head representatives. Your capabilities to think outside the box, and prior experience supporting senior level executives will make you excel in this role. The successful candidate will work with executives who are self reliant but need assistance keeping them on task and schedule.
Responsibilities: Act as first primary contact for the executives (in person and acting as a gatekeeper) Working closely with Director to assure both are on task and focused Managing executives calendar and coordinating meetings Manage travel & transportation when required Coordination of events Prepare and organize meetings and reports when required Managing all corresponding
Manage Expense Reports Creating Excel spreadsheets for meetings Handle special projects when required
Qualifications:
5 years Executive Assistant experience supporting C-level or higher
Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business Administration
Advanced Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Experience acting as first point of contact for Executives
Proactive not reactive personality
This role will initially start as a 12 month contract role
