Kelly is a global leader in providing workforce solutions. Our client is looking for a Temporary Financial Analyst with excellent analytical skills and a proactive attitude in Belleville, ON.
Length of assignment : 1-2 month with possibility of extension or conversion to permanent in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to ensure the successful execution of the monthly close process, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This involves conducting analyses to identify variances between plans and forecasts, and providing informed recommendations for necessary actions.
- Manage the comprehensive completion of sales tax filings (PST and GST/HST) and installment payments across provincial and federal levels.
- Supervise the entire process of vendor invoicing and payment authorization.
- Engage in the preparation and/or analysis of general ledger entries, system interfaces, and journal entries.
- Generate standard reports and conduct thorough analyses.
- Uphold compliance with all financial policies, adhere to closing schedules, and meet budget and forecast deliverables.
- Provide support for fixed asset capitalization and undertake ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and an agile mindset.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complexity.
- Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- Must be able to maintain sensitive and confidential information adhering to Privacy and Compliance policies
