Supply Chain Analyst

Summary

Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the main responsibility as Supply Chain Analyst is running tools used by the Supply Chain Leaders to run the business, run various reports required by Government programs, support inventory management for certain product categories.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform daily reconciliation of transactions for pallet program and submit corrections of variances / actions items; follow up on these corrections with respective parties until completion.
  • Coordinate physical inventories/cycle counts for pallet program with all sites.
  • Manage and control annual inventory taking for pallet program from all plants and 3PLs.
  • Run reports / tools used to facilitate decision making in Supply Chain
  • Support Sustainability reporting.
  • Support Government reporting, as required.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Participate in continuous improvements projects (which by enlarge will involve collaborating with the IT team and other SC team members to automate decision making tools)

 

 

Required Experience / Required Ingredients: 

  • Post-secondary education in Business, preferable with focus on Supply Chain
  • 1-3 years of Supply chain experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel is a must.
  • VBA Macros or any other language for statistical computing and data visualization would be a strength.
  • Some ERP experience required.

Summary:

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the main responsibility as Supply Chain Analyst will be to analyze order patterns by customer, product categories, seasonality, etc. to generate the Sales Forecast that will be the starting point for the Sales and Operations Planning process.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze ordering patterns for all finished goods to produce a Sales Forecast
  • Analyze the performance of the Sales Forecast to understand the deviations and improve the forecasting model
  • Participate in various improvement projects in the Supply Chain area
  • Manage the IREP program for the organization
  • Responsible to track KPIs for the Supply Chain Department

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, preferable with focus on Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel is a must

  • Some ERP experience required
