Job description

Our client in London, ON has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Manager of their Land Development department to join their growing team! Our client is well established and has a strong commitment to developing their employees internally. The Land Development Manager will manage and support the Land/Site Development team that includes CAD Technologists, Designers and Project Managers.

Responsibilities
Perform land and site development design and analysis to meet client requirements including storm and sanitary sewer design, water distribution system design, detailed grading analysis, and storm water management design
Responsible for technical report writing
Day to day management of Civil Engineering staff
Provide technical assistance and input on projects
Provide design and constructability feedback and recommendations

Provide mentoring and guidance to team members

Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering with a P.Eng. designation or working towards a P.Eng
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience including both Project and Team Management.
A comprehensive understanding of applicable regulations, standards and legislation related to Land Development projects
