Fleet Services are seeking a highly motivated Journeyperson Mechanic's to work out of the Fleet Shops throughout the Province. Under the direction of the Service Supervisor, you will maintain, repair, and modify heavy duty equipment, light vehicles, and other equipment used in highway maintenance and construction.

In this position, you will: conduct preventative maintenance inspections to all types of trucks, highway construction and maintenance equipment with services performed in the shop and in the field; diagnose equipment problems using mechanical, electrical, and computerized test equipment; determine method of repair and cost/time associated with the repair;
Repair equipment including mechanical, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems by replacing, fabricating, or revising parts and components; perform equipment maintenance such as fluid/filter changes; replace brakes, exhaust systems, hydraulic hoses, etc.; develop/modify new and existing equipment or systems as assigned; enter and retrieve data on the computer; and be required to travel with the possibility of overnight stays.

To qualify for this position, you will possess a valid Journeyperson Certificate recognized by the Province of Saskatchewan and will either possess a valid Class 3A operators licence or be willing to upgrade to a 3A licence during the probationary period.
