Position Summary The
Business Operations Specialist is a newly created position that
will support the centralized operations function across the organization. We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact on people's lives and work with a team of people who share that same passion. We are seeking a highly motivated
Business Operations Specialist who will be responsible for streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and supporting the operational best practices driving overall business growth. This role requires a keen understanding of business operations, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This position will work closely with and in support of the Senior Operations Manager, as well as the wider Centralized Operations and front-line teams. This position plays a key role in supporting and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the organization through implementation of key strategic projects. This position involves a diverse set of responsibilities spanning multiple functional areas.
Responsibilities - Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyse workflows and recommend changes to streamline operations.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects.
- Gather relevant requirements for strategic projects and BAU items.
- Data Analysis:
- Work with our data team to collect, analyse, and interpret data to support decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Take ownership for frontline compliance with internal systems and processes.
- Training and Development:
- Collaborate with our talent Development Team and other leaders to train front-line teams on operational processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with departments such as IT application, Data, Marketing and Client Management Centre to coordinate activities and achieve organizational goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Understanding of fundamental operations management principles.
- Knowledge of best practices in process improvement and workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex operational challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
- Proactive problem-solving ability to address operational challenges and inefficiencies.
- Leadership skills to influence and drive change in operational processes.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and project execution.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations, project management, or a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and software for data analysis and project management.
