Payroll Clerk



The City of Courtenay invites applications for a full-time position of " Payroll Clerk” in the Financial Services Department. This is a full-time, union position subject to the terms and conditions in the collective agreement between the City and CUPE Local 556.

The Payroll Clerk works collaboratively as a member of the Financial Services team and is responsible to support the Payroll Coordinator with the processing of payroll, new hires, terminations, salary changes, reclassification and benefit administration for union and exempt staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

COMPLEMENTARY ASSETS :

The successful candidate will be required to provide a clear Criminal Record Check.

The current hourly wage rate is $34.60 based on a 35-hour work week. This is a full-time position; start date to be determined.
