Are you ready to take your career in finance to the next level? Join our client’s innovative team as an FP&A and play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of their dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the growing business needs for reports including cost centers, commercial, revenue,
• R&D
• Produce accurate and timely reports and work with the area managers to explain, enhance and
• evolve the reporting process.
• Lead the budget/re-forecast process
• Develop and document robust business processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize financial procedures

Specific Focus Areas:

• Month-end/year-end tasks
  • Commissions analysis and accrual
  • Freight out analysis and accrual
  • Technician time analysis and accrual
  • Reports
    • Revenue GL to ship report analysis
    • Cost center reports
    • Installation, deferred revenue, reports
    • R&D spend analysis
  • Support quarterly re-forecast
  • Lead annual budgeting process

Requirements:

• Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) Accounting designation, Degree in Accounting, Finance
• or related field of study is a benefit
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with accounting statement preparation, review/analysis
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with ERP system
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers, analytical and quantitative skills
• Experience in Manufacturing environment
