Job description
The Resort Village of Candle Lake, Operations and Public Works department is seeking full-time Student Maintenance staff for summer 2024 operations. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible workweek schedule.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities: (may include but are not limited to)
Vegetation control (grass cutting, whipper snipping, etc.)
Facility and equipment maintenance (painting, sign installation and repair, road patching, etc.)
Waste collection
Other general labour
Equipment use data tracking and documentation
Retain and record accurate account of equipment and supplies
Exhibit professionalism while working in public settings
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Ability to comfortably lift up to 30lbs
General physical aptitude
